Power is one thing, but ease of use is also important. What makes this machine a real joy to use is the fact that it only weighs 1.2 kg. Its solid, compact design allows it to get into tight spaces as well as being comfortable for overhead use. The generous 230 mm long blade will help you cover wider areas at a time in contrast to shorter blade designs. The 7.2 V 1.1 Ah lithium-ion battery pack can be charged in 30 minutes. Unlike NiCd, lithium does not suffer from memory effect so your batteries will last longer too. Metabo use the LC60 charger which uses individual cell monitoring and a smooth charging procedure to guarantee long service life. The 7.2 V 1.1 Ah lithium-ion battery pack can be charged in 30 minutes. It is removable too so once it has exhausted its life cycle you can replace it, no need to buy a completely new machine! In comparison some other models on the market have fixed battery packs and can take up to 3 hours to charge.
